1. Who we are
Swift Figures LLC ("we", "us", "our"), operator of TaxSetAside (the "Service"), is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service. Contact: contact@swiftfigures.com.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: email address, authentication identifiers, hashed credentials or magic-link tokens.
- Creator data: external creator IDs and emails shared by partner platforms, payout amounts, payout dates, platform of origin.
- Tax data: expense entries (date, amount, category, optional note) and Schedule C summaries you generate.
- Billing data: handled by Paddle; we store only the resulting customer/subscription identifiers and status.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamps, pages viewed, and error logs.
- Support data: contents of emails you send us.

4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients:
- Paddle — Merchant of Record for sales, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Supabase — managed database, authentication, and storage infrastructure.
- Cloud hosting and email providers (e.g. Cloudflare, Resend, transactional email vendors) — for hosting, delivery of magic links and reminders.
- Partner platforms — only the data they themselves submit to us about their creators (we do not share other creators' data with them).
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities where required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal data.
5. Data retention
We retain account, creator, and tax data for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years after closure to support IRS recordkeeping expectations. Billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting law. Logs and analytics are retained for up to 12 months. We delete or anonymise data sooner on request, subject to legal retention obligations.
6. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures including TLS in transit, encryption at rest for managed databases, role-based access controls, row-level security policies, signed webhook verification, and regular dependency audits.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US and other countries where our subprocessors operate. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
- Restrict or object to processing;
- Portability (export);
- Withdraw consent at any time;
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local-storage items to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregated usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
